Happy Independence Day! Spent a weekend at our nation's capital. Fireworks right next to the Washington Memorial- there really isn't a better place to be on the 4th of July :)

I absolutely love street performers. Who doesn't?
This guy, performing right on Broadway, played songs from Pocahontas, The Phantom of the Opera, and lots more! Good background music during the lunch hour.

And just having lunch right in the heart of the Garment District :)
There's a series of mannequins right down Broadway- really makes me feel like I'm in the capital of the fashion world!

After work I decided to walk down to Herald Square to shop a bit (surprise, surprise). And found a group of women doing Zumba in front of Macy's. They were drawing a pretty big crowd too!
